Services

Every home and family is different. We tailor testing and assessments to your concerns instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all package.

Mold & Moisture Assessments

Musty odors, spots on walls or ceilings, past leaks, or lingering health issues can all be signs of a moisture problem.

What’s included

  • Visual inspection of accessible areas (interior, attic, basement where possible)
  • Targeted moisture readings on suspect surfaces
  • Humidity checks and ventilation review
  • Optional air and/or surface sampling sent to an accredited lab (when justified)

What you get

  • Clear explanation of where moisture is getting in or staying trapped
  • Photos of key problem areas (when helpful)
  • Recommendations for drying, repairs, and when to consider professional remediation

Indoor Air Quality Check

Indoor air can be more polluted than outdoor air — especially in tightly sealed homes.

What we look at

  • Ventilation and air exchange patterns
  • Sources of particles and VOCs (e.g., cooking, cleaning products, fuels)
  • Humidity and comfort levels
  • Signs of stale or “heavy” air

What you get

  • Practical changes you can make with ventilation, filtration, and behavior
  • Suggestions for when specialty testing or equipment might be worth it

Water Quality Testing

Whether you’re on a private well or municipal water, it pays to know what’s in it.

What can be tested

  • Basic potability (bacteria, nitrates, etc.)
  • Metals (like lead, copper, iron)
  • Hardness and other common nuisance issues

What you get

  • Lab report translated into plain language
  • Clear recommendations: what’s safe, what’s borderline, and when to treat or fix at the source

EMF & Hidden Exposure Review

If you’re sensitive to your environment or simply curious, an EMF review can help you understand the invisible fields in your home.

What we do

  • Survey common EMF sources in key living and sleeping areas
  • Measure different types of fields with appropriate meters
  • Identify hotspots from wiring, devices, and placement

What you get

  • A walk-through of findings with simple, realistic mitigation ideas
  • Focus on low-cost, practical changes where they make a difference

Our current status: We are in the process of preparing for full radon certification so we can offer Pennsylvania DEP-recognized radon testing services.

Important: We are not yet offering radon testing but expect to add it soon.
